FILMS

Through her company, MyDoc Productions, Delaney has made several feature-length documentaries (see below), including the SCREENAGERS trilogy, and many shorts, including CRISIS IN CONTROL (about psychiatric advance directives), GO AWAY EVIL (about mental health in South Africa), IF SHE KNEW (about cross-cultural medicine), and CROSSROADS (about pain and opioid addiction).

 

She has created other short films in partnership with organizations such as The World Health Organization, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and The Recovery Café. Additionally, she lived in India for two years as Fulbright Scholar creating films about community mental health workers.

The film debunks myths and depicts strategies parents and schools can use to encourage healthy decision-making, support teen mental health, set limits, and create healthy home environments. The film also includes many ways young people are using their wisdom and strength to help each other and themselves through this complicated terrain around substance use.
